Oregon Fire Opal Cabochon Ring Sterling Silver size 7

This is a lovely orange color natural, untreated opal from Oregon. In spite of being called "fire" opal, there is no play-of color; the name refers to the color of fire. Unlike Mexican fire opal, Oregon material tends to be a bit more muted or darker in tone. There is a lovely glow to the piece. 

The 10x8mm oval cabochon is over 2ct. It is set in a nice sterling silver mounting that is a size 7, weighing 3g. It will come with a certificate of authenticity.
