Natural Alexandrite and Diamond THIN Band Ring Solid 18k Gold size 6.5

This ring turned out so sweet! I've taken a gently pre-loved solid 18k gold very thin mounting. I've set a 4.7 x 3.3mm oval natural alexandrite, chrysoberyl that weighs .27ct.

The alexandrite changes color from a bluish green to a purple. It is sometimes challenging to see color change unless you have dramatic light shifts. I recommend taking photos of the ring in different light sources to fully appreciate the phenomenal affect. The stone is very clean except for a surface reaching feather that under magnification, looks like an abrasion. It's just the stone's natural characteristic and is not something that will likely be noticed on the hand--being the piece is dainty.

The alexandrite is accented by diamonds running along the shoulders of the ring. They are VS/F+ and total .22ctw (as setting allows estimation). The ring weighs a very light weight of 1.2g.

This is a phenomenal piece in more ways than one!
