This is a one of a kind beautiful piece of Koroit boulder opal from Queensland Australia. It is very "glittery (pinfire play of color). It has been coated with a thin clear enamel layer to bring out the fire and retain a wet look to it. The stone is free form. It is thoughtfully wrapped in solid sterling silver wire my me.
