Art Deco Synthetic Sapphire Natural Diamond Band Ring Solid 18k White Gold size 6.5

This ring is super cute and a nice collectable piece! The ring is from the Art Deco era--or around that. Due to age, there is some minor wear to the fancy cut synthetic sapphire. It has beautiful filigree work with solid 18k white gold metal.

The fancy (kind of like a scissor cut) rectangular stone is roughly 2.5x3mm. On the sides are 2 natural cleaved I2-3 diamonds.... Alright, here's where I nerd out....

Under magnification, while the diamonds are heavily included and chipped due to the crude nature of cleaving (rather than cutting), they reveal some cool mineral inclusions! One of the diamonds has a high relief inclusion that looks similar to hematite or pyrite. Maybe not everyone will appreciate the "flaws", but I find it fun to know there are other crystal types growing in a diamond.

The ring is a size 6.5 and weighs 2.6g.
