These unique one of a kind earrings were made by using a scrapped out Art Deco bar brooch and snipping off the ornamental ends. They were too cute to scrap! I painstakingly hand forged the metal, hand polishing it with no use of soldier to form an opening for the lower part of the earrings.

This component is solid 10k white gold. Rhodium is worn down leaving that soft white. The 2mm square stones appear to be sapphire simulants of glass. This was common for the era. I didn't check to see if they were synthetic sapphire--but it's not natural. I used 10k gold wire and used some Japanese Akoya pearls pulled from an antique ring, drilled holes through to accent the the dangle.

To avoid driving cost up, I've put removable sterling silver shepherd hook posts. If you would like solid gold, please message me. Or, you may be able to thread your stud earrings in the loops and create a completely different look.

The cultured pearls are 3.2-2.4mm. The dangle part of the earring without the sterling silver hooks weighs 1.2g. With the hooks it's 1.4g. The drop on the earrings is 1 1/4"
